Pulsión: techno as a space to inhabit

Within the fabric of the underground techno scene, projects continue to emerge that don’t just aim to release music, but to build something broader: a language, a concept, a place. A project shaped by the personal

Pulsión didn’t emerge from strategy or structured planning. It was born out of an intense personal moment, marked by contrasts: energy, creative impulse, and at the same time, darker and more destructive internal states.

Rather than being an abstract concept, the project is built directly from its creator’s experience. Each release becomes a way of processing what’s happening — giving form and meaning to those extremes.

That same approach extends to the artists involved.

Instead of imposing a rigid aesthetic, Pulsión introduces a concept and allows each artist to interpret it in their own way. The result is a catalogue where the sound doesn’t follow a single fixed identity, but rather multiple ways of understanding the same idea.

At this stage, Pulsión isn’t interested in locking itself into a specific sound. There’s a direction, a sensitivity that runs through the project, but no strict boundaries.

The priority is for each concept to resonate with the music, rather than fitting into a predefined label.

Looking ahead, the intention is clear: to grow without losing its core.

Not growth for the sake of it, but as a result of genuine artistic evolution. Deepening the conceptual side, developing the visual identity, and expanding the tools used to build the project.

There’s also a desire to take Pulsión beyond its current format.

Installations, exhibitions, performative experiences — new ways of bringing this universe into physical space and extending the concept beyond music.
