Philia Records presents its first release and takes a new step within the Argentine underground scene

In recent years, the electronic music underground scene has seen the growth of a new generation of projects that started by organizing events or producing audiovisual content and, over time, took the step towards releasing their own music. This is the case of Philia, a platform born in 2023 that, after consolidating a community through its events and audiovisual sessions, officially presents Philia Records with its first techno release.

Their path within the Argentine underground scene

The project takes its name from the Greek term philia, associated with affection, friendship, and the bonds built between people. This idea runs through the brand's entire identity from its beginnings. First as an event producer, then with its Philia Studio series —which already features more than seventy video-sets published on YouTube— and now with its own record label that seeks to continue promoting artists within the underground scene.

Philia has been building a space where different forms of expression coexist. The events, the audiovisual content, and now the label appear as part of the same proposal, with the goal of generating opportunities for new producers and continuing to strengthen a community that finds a meeting point in music.

"Antes de Todo", the first techno release from Philia Records

The debut of Philia Records arrives with "Antes de Todo", a techno release signed by PPZZ alongside VSHT, accompanied by remixes from Blusein and Blueboii.

The EP moves between techno and contemporary trance, featuring a strong presence of defined grooves, trance-inspired melodies that evoke a more sentimental side, high BPMs, and powerful basslines that maintain a constant energy. These tracks are clearly designed for the dancefloor, but with their own identity and soul.

The remixes by Blusein and Blueboii expand on this proposal without breaking the coherence of the release, contributing new interpretations that maintain the spirit of the EP and finalize solidifying a strong first reference for the label's catalog.

A new project that adds to the underground scene

It is interesting to see proposals that grow progressively, first developing a community and an identity before launching a record label. This path usually reflects a more conscious search and a vision that goes beyond a music release.

With this first techno release, Philia opens a new phase for a project that was already generating movement across various spaces and now adds a new tool to continue supporting emerging artists.
