Techno: A new curation is born from the connection between MalaNoche and Prost!

In this Various Artists co-curated between the label MalaNoche and Prost!, we can find a selection built from closeness, trust, and a shared vision of techno.

The compilation brings together Chacal Noir, Contrast, De Feo, Dr Feuille, FARO, Keos, NINON, Prost!, Ra Ph, SLKTR along with Javy Mugt and System 97 in an eleven-track journey where different ways of understanding club music coexist.

Although the selection traverses different variants of techno, there is one element that acts as a common denominator throughout the release: the basslines. Powerful, dense, and with a clear club intention, they are what end up uniting the different proposals and shaping the sonic identity of the V.A.

From there, different paths emerge. Some tracks push the groove toward territory closer to hardgroove, while others move through more hypnotic and atmospheric areas. There are also more minimalist sounds, occasionally used vocals, and different layers that add depth to the selection.

Variety is present, something inevitable in an eleven-track compilation, but the curation succeeds in making the different proposals coexist naturally. Not all artists seek the same thing or use the same tools, but there is a clear line running through the release: intense grooves and basslines designed to sustain the energy in a club.

In this sense, the V.A. functions as a broad yet coherent selection. A compilation where each artist maintains their own identity.

Beyond the music, there is a clear intention behind this compilation: to build a space based on inclusion, exchange, and collective expression. A scene where different sensibilities can coexist without requiring all artists to sound the same.
