Pert at Lollapalooza Argentina 2026: From the Underground Scene to One of the World’s Biggest Stages

For more than a decade, Argentine DJ and producer Pert has been steadily building her path within the electronic music scene through the underground circuit. Clubs, independent events, and countless hours behind the decks have shaped a journey defined by patience, consistency, and a deep connection with the dancefloor.

In 2026, that journey reaches a new milestone with her appearance at Lollapalooza Argentina, one of the most recognized music festivals in the world. The invitation marks an important moment in her career and reflects how the Argentine electronic scene continues to project artists onto increasingly larger stages.

In this conversation with 091 Records, Pert reflects on what it means to perform at a festival of this scale, the decisions that helped shape her path, and how she approaches this new chapter in her artistic journey.

“A mix of emotion, gratitude and responsibility”

What does it feel like to come from the underground scene and be invited to perform at one of the most important festivals in the world?

For me it’s a very intense mix of emotion, gratitude and also responsibility. I come from the underground scene, from building a path step by step, understanding that real growth in music doesn’t happen overnight but is something that develops over time, through listening, patience and conviction.

I’ve been dedicated to this for more than 13 years, and seeing that entire journey lead me to a festival like Lollapalooza is something I still find hard to fully grasp. It’s one of those moments where you look back and realize everything that happened along the way to get here.

Beyond the recognition, I also experience it as an opportunity to represent the scene I come from: a very genuine, creative and resilient scene that shaped me and continues to be an essential part of my artistic identity.

At the end of the day, I still feel the same thing I felt when I started: the love for music, for the dancefloor, and for that unique moment of connection that happens with people.

A stage that opens new horizons

How do you feel about this opportunity and how do you think it might influence your career?

For any artist, performing at a festival of this magnitude represents a huge opportunity. It’s a space where your project can meet a much broader and more diverse audience, and where the music takes on another dimension.

Rather than thinking about it purely in terms of career impact, I see it as a moment of expansion: of my sound, of my musical language, and of the way that energy is shared with people.

Every stage has its own atmosphere and dynamics, but the goal remains the same: creating a genuine moment on the dancefloor. When that connection happens, everything else becomes secondary.

The decisions that shape a journey

Do you feel there were certain decisions that led you to this moment?

I think there were many small decisions that over time ended up shaping the path. One of the most important ones was always staying true to my musical identity and to the way I understand the dancefloor.

In an environment where everything changes very quickly, choosing to maintain your own vision is a constant decision.

It was also essential to focus on long-term work: taking the time to develop my sound, producing music, playing in different spaces, and continuing to learn from every experience.

In the end, more than a single decision, I feel it was a combination of consistency, curiosity and love for music. Over time, all of that starts to find its place.

A festival set with its own dynamics

How do you imagine the set you will play at Lollapalooza? Will it be different from what you usually play in clubs?

I think it will be a very intense set with a lot of energy. In a festival like Lollapalooza the experience is different from a club: there’s a broader audience and a very special atmosphere.

The foundation of what I do will remain the same, because my sonic identity doesn’t change, but I’ll probably play with a selection that works well in that context, with more explosive moments and a dynamic designed for that kind of stage.

Lessons from the underground

After so many years in the circuit, what do you feel that journey has taught you as an artist?

I think the most valuable thing this path has taught me is to stay true to myself. At the beginning you have many references and influences, but over time you realize that the most important thing is to find your own voice and dare to stand by it.

Of course that voice also evolves over time, and I think that’s essential.

I also learned that growth is not something linear. There are moments of great energy and others that are quieter, but all of them are part of the process. Every experience, every dancefloor, every trip.

And maybe the most important thing: perseverance. Music constantly puts you to the test, but when you truly believe in what you do, you keep moving forward. Over time, that conviction becomes the foundation of your identity as an artist.

Within the deeper and more mental side of techno, there are artists who develop their sound patiently, building tracks that unfold slowly and aim to create a more hypnotic techno immersive experience on the dancefloor. Producer Ellissir has been exploring this direction for some time, and his new track “La Puerta Negra” is a clear reflection of that approach.
